One Calabasas resident has even filed to run. Real estate agent David Bramante, 39, is campaigning on a promise to end all vaccine mandates, end gas and sales taxes, and solve the state’s homelessness problem, which he feels is caused by mental health issues.
“I’m the only candidate not accepting donations,” Bramante said. “I can’t be bought. I knew this would be a long shot but a couple weeks into it I feel like I’ve gotten a ton of momentum. I just did a video on Tik Tok that got 140,000 views.
“My only focus, if I become governor, is ending the emergency orders and the mandates and getting us back to normal,” the candidate from Calabasas said.
